Simone “Boss Lady” Amelia

Media personality Simone “Boss Lady” Amelia is a Host on Hip-Hop Nation (SiriusXM) and Lifestyle Consultant for brands like Monster Products, Sprayground and Indique.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean heritage, Simone moved to New York City eight years ago and quickly become a familiar face in both the music and fashion industries. She was one of five women from around the world chosen for Reebok Classics’ “Classic Beat” campaign, with her own signature shoe launched (and sold out) in October 2012.

A published journalist from the age of 17 in Australia and abroad, she’s interviewed stars such artists as Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Afeni Shakur, Diddy, Rick Ross, 50 Cent and countless others throughout her rewarding career. In late 2003, Simone became the Founder/Editor of Urban Hitz, Australia and New Zealand’s first and highest selling on-sale urban music and culture magazine.

In addition to her media ventures, Boss Lady’s passion is working with young women via her growing “Team Boss Lady” empowerment movement plus the Women In Entertainment Empowerment Network [WEEN] and mentoring duties with New York-based grassroots organization, Youth At Risk, the latter where she was awarded Mentor Of The Year in 2011 and 2012. 

 

Tahiry Jose

Voluptuous urban model and NYC native Tahiry Jose gained fame during the course of her very public relationship with rapper Joe Budden, which reached a climax on VH1’s hugely popular reality series Love & Hip Hop.

Love & Hip Hop is consistently the highest-viewed show on cable television during Monday evenings “in-season,” and Tahiry Jose’s popularity as a fan favorite has seen her social media numbers skyrocket to over a million followers total.

Born to Dominican parents in Harlem, Tahiry is a model, actress and entrepreneur and holds a degree from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. As a cover model for KING magazine, Tahiry generated one of the brand’s highest selling editions and has also graced the pages of many other magazines including Complex, XXL and VIBE.

Tahiry is now working on a fitness DVD, a calendar and focusing on acting lessons. She has landed roles in various films in 2012 and 2013 and co-owns popular Harlem nightspot, Suite 135. She’s a staple at most red-carpet events and proof that brains and beauty can successfully mix.
